Today the home cleaning industry is the most popular amongst BookingKoala users, but don't underestimate the mobile car wash industry. There is a HUGE demand and increase in popularity in this industry, and there is an excellent chance it may become our most significant industry in the future.
The traditional car wash has already proved that people wash their cars. Today the business model is shifting, and people will pay an additional charge to have someone come to them. Another thing that has me convinced is that a long time ago, back in 2013, there was no 'Mobile Car Wash' option on the Yelp platform. Today, when you visit their site, you'll find that section there, which means people search for it.
Currently, it's also our 2nd most popular business idea and model, and ironically the first person that ever signed up for BookingKoala in 2018 started a mobile car wash and detailing business. Another mobile car wash business using BookingKoala also happens to be our biggest, ahead of all the home cleaning businesses doing millions in annual revenue.
Time will tell, but I feel it may overtake the home cleaning industry, so if you're more of a car person, don't be stuck on home cleaning just because everyone else is succeeding in that industry.
